Code structure, bank and branch, supported payment schemes. Facts, no judgements.
1 slot per query, 3 with the InfoCert qualified timestamp. You pay only when a result is obtained: if the source does not answer, nothing is charged and no bundle is produced.
Available to anyone with at least one paid order.
The result is sealed in a bundle with an Ed25519 signature and an RFC 3161 timestamp, with a report in text and PDF.
An IBAN says more than it seems: its structure identifies the country, the institution and the branch. This check verifies its formal correctness and traces the institution, with the payment schemes that account supports.
It is the only paid service that returns no judgement at all: only verifiable data about the code structure and the institution.
Only what the program actually does: every item matches a finding that exists in the code.
Whether the code is well formed for its country and whether the check digits add up. A wrong IBAN can be spotted before the money leaves.
The bank the code belongs to and its reference branch, with their identifiers.
Which European payment schemes that account can receive: it tells whether a collection is technically possible.
A stated limit is worth more than a claim of completeness — and it goes into the report too, not just onto this page.
🔴 It does not say who holds the account. If the question is “does this IBAN really belong to my supplier?”, the right service is payee verification, which compares a name against the holder.
It does not say whether the account exists, is open or holds funds. A formally correct IBAN may belong to a closed account.
